The Story
Behind Sofisticated
I didn't become obsessed with skincare because my skin was perfect, I became obsessed with it when nothing seemed to work anymore.
I started Sofisticated as a creative outlet to document my journey with acne, hair care, and beauty. Growing up in Honduras, I never thought much about my skin, until moving to the U.S. and finding that the routine that had always worked for me suddenly didn't.
Between acne, hair struggles, and learning that beauty is rarely one-size-fits-all, I became fascinated by finding what actually works.
Today, Sofisticated is a space where I share the things I'm learning, the products that earn a permanent spot on my shelf, and experiences that have helped me feel more confident in my own skin, in hopes that they might help someone else too.
